Finding Neverland

I finally got around to seeing Finding Neverland last night. About halfway through the movie I told my wife that I didn’t understand why this movie was up for a Golden Globe for best picture. We both agreed that it wasn’t that good. I was actually scoring it 2 out of 5 stars at that point which I felt might even have been generous. Luckily, the 2nd half of the movie was really good. Depp did an excellent job and deserved the Golden Globe nomination for lead actor. Final score 3 and a half stars out of 5. It wasn’t a great movie but it was worth seeing.
The next movie on the list is either Million Dollar Baby or Closer. I’m hoping to see Sideways soon too.
