All is well.
The doctor said the blood transfusion was necessary because Zoë is growing too fast and her bone marrow can’t keep up. Everything seems to be fine at this point.
Side note – another baby in the nico was having serious problems just now and they made Jenn leave while they worked on him. He was just born yesterday and was a giant compared to Zoë. Puts things in perspective.
